Plaza Mayor. Is the square of Madrid, located right in the center of the city, and a few minutes of another famous plaza also worth visiting, the Puerta del Sol Plaza Mayor was inaugurated in 1620 during the reign of Felipe III, who is represented by a giant statue in the middle of the square.
